This 1A no model (the putter is a 1A but not stamped 1A) appears almost unused.  The head looks perfect. The original leather wrap grip is clean. Only the Tortion T grip cap shows a little wear from contact with the bottom of a golf bag.

Karsten Solheim, with the able help of his teen-age sons Allan and John, made this putter by hand in their Redwood City, California, garage.  Redwood City Ping putters are now iconic.
