Advertised in and around 1931, the Rivers-Zambra Approach Putter has a unique head shape that includes a low profile blade and well-lofted face. Plus each side of the head--the face, the crown, the back, and the sole--is flat.

The back of the putter head is stamped "Rustless Iron / Hand Forged," along with the name "W. West"   The top of the blade is marked "Rivers-Zambra/ Approach Putter/ Reg No 740,670."  The sole is stamped "The Scuffler."  Original 34" shaft and original leather grip.

The golf ball shown in some of the images is not part of this lot, but is included to provide perspective—the head on this club really has a low profile!  The center of the blade measures on 9/16" deep!  A great club in many ways!
