Made by Kroydon, this niblick is marked "Kroydon Clubs" and "Chas G Nieman" etc. on the back on the back of the blade and "50° Niblick" on the toe of the face. Few irons have vertical scoring because few people desired to increase the amount of hook or slice imparted to their shots. Such a club would have been a total specialty club, used only when the golfer wanted to really curve a shot.   The 35 1/2" shaft is original as is the leather wrap grip.
