This ball was advertised by its maker, the St. Mungo Manufacturing company, as being “practically indestructible.”  Used but not abused, this ball does not have any significant cut marks.  The ball is termed a “six pole” bramble because the bramble pattern cover has six “pole circles” located equidistant across the surface of the ball.  The corresponding lines between the poles effectively divide the cover into 8 identical triangles.  Only the top and bottom pole circles, however, are marked “White Colonel.”
