Kelly Golf, produced by Kellyesque Products, Ltd, of Cleveland, Ohio, was advertised as " A Portable Game for Real Golf on Lawn, Rug, Dining, or Billiard Table or for Kelly Ice Golf, on River, Lake, Rink. Now that is actually something. That makes this the only golf game I know of that was advertised for use on ice!
The game itself consists of a mint mesh ball in the wrapper, a metal "hole-disk", and four additional metal "holes". The entire game cost a mere one dollar and fit in a small box. Shipping to received this box via the post office was 7 cents according to the stamps on the box. This game was covered under a 1930 US patent as is marked on the hole-disk. This particular game was sold in 1932, as that is the date when the three George Washington 2-cent stamps on the box were introduced.
Everything is in unused condition. The front of the box shows how the game is played and gives scoring guidance.
