The head on this 1923 Mac & Mac putter is made out of German Silver, which is an alloy of copper, zinc, and nickel. The head has a pointed back that serves as an alignment aid.  There are 2 lead weights on the sole, one behind the heel and the other behind the toe, which makes this one of the earliest putters to explore heel -toe weighting.

The shaft is square where it leaves the hosel, then it transitions into round up its length until right before it reaches the grip, where it once again becomes square to create the square grip on this club (an original leather wrapped grip).

This club is in excellent original condition. Mac & Mac pointed back putters are rare, and when they are found they are seldom this nice.  They could collect dents with ease.

See the attached ad to learn more about this great club.  Additional information can also be found in TCA2 v2 p556
