Among many other things, PING is famous for its gold putters. Beginning back in the 1960s, Karsten awarded gold-plated putters to those top PGA and LPGA pros who won events using a PING putter. He would make two gold putters for each win. He kept one and the other he gave to the successful pro. Today, PING has a vault that contains over 3000 gold putters, the vast bulk of which is engraved with the name of the pro and the event he or she won.
This lot consists of two Ping-produced gold-plated putters—a B-60 and Pal 6. These two gleaming gold short sticks were awarded to a national retailer for the work with PING. They are not engraved and remain exactly as awarded: Absolutely Beautiful.
