On Feb 11, 1926, Albert Percival and Earnest Whitcombe were issued a British patent that covered this putter.  The crescent-shaped, convex face of this putter was designed to help the golfer strike the ball with the same face angle even when the player's stroke might vary the position of the blade.

This example has its original shaft and leather-wrapped grip. The writing stamped on the back of the blade is still all there and easily readable. There is some light pitting across the head, but the club is eminently presentable and a worthy example of this creative club.

For more information on this distincitive putter, please see TCA2 V1 p296-297.
