Offered here is the 1924 edition of Spalding's Official Golf Guide that has been hard bound with the name of the owner printed on the front cover and the book title hand-written on the spine.  A Rules of Golf rule book has been bound into the back of this golf guide via a perforated edge, so the rule book can be separated from the Golf Guide.

According to Donovan and Jerris, in their book The Game of Golf and The Printed Word 1566-2005, "Spalding's Official Golf Guide, first published in 1893, was the most successful annual published in America. It remained in publication through 37 editions, until 1932. Each edition provided a review of the preceding year, including litso fht e varioius champions and a review of the important events in each region of the coutry. Thisis one of the most important references sources for the early decades of American golf."
