Stamped "The Spalding" on both the crown and the shaft, this splice neck driver was once owned by famed Collector Fred X Fry. For more on Fry Click Here.  Fry even stamped his name on the crown along with a former owner whose initials were KJF.

Produced between 1897 and 1900, this club is a true bulger driver, with a compact head and a face the curves heel to toe. The club measures 40 1/2", likely made for a lady or younger golfer. The sole is stamped "230," which appears to be original to the club.

With its original blond finish, sheepskin grip, and black-painted shaft, this is a beautiful club in outstanding condition.
