According to Fred X Fry's notes, this putter was homemade, the brainchild of Dewey Longworth and one of his original "Cup Cuddler" putters. The putter head and the hosel have been cut off and welded together, with brass brazed to the back of the head to provide it with suitable weight.  And darn if the club doesn't actually feel pretty good - even if it the rules no longer allow croquet-style putting.
