Produced by O.A. Holdbrook of 15 Foster's Wharf, Boston, MA, this Wee Novel Tee Moulder is one of the first sand tee molds made in America.  The tee is in outstanding condition. The top of the mould is stamped "Pat Apl'd For" on the top of the plunger. Olin A. Holbrook received a US Patent dated December 2, 1902 for this device, in perfect working condition. On the inside of the tee, the brass under the brushed chrome is visible in one area, which explains why these little guys are heavy for their size—and well made.  A reproduction Wee Noveltee box, produced/acquired by an earlier owner, is included with this lot.

Also note that the tee has a beautiful reflective metal finish on its exterior, with no flaws.  The parts of the exterior that look "frosted gray" is actually just the reflection of the gray surface the tee is sitting on.
