Kroyden's brick face irons were covered under a US patent issued in
1920 to Arthur Kraeuter. A fair number of these were produced, designed
to add backspin to the golfer's shot, before deep groove clubs were ruled non-conforming effective on Jan 1, 1924.
This beautiful 40° Mashie Niblick has its original shaft and grip. The head has
been nicely cleaned up and looks the brick face looks stellar! The owners
initials "CWS" are stamped on the back of the blade along with "Lawson Brothers, Makers" the retailer of this club.
