The circa 1925 Uncanny putter, marked "The Uncanny Putter / WR Ritchie, Addington / Staynorous Rustless" on the back of the head, and "Flat Lie, 710,507" on the sole, has a different head shape and beautiful greenheart shaft that is flat down the entire length of the shaft that faces the target when the golfer is addressing the ball. The flat portion of the shaft is a continuation of the flat portion of the hosel that also faces the target when the golfer addresses the ball. Nice original leather grip
The low profile Celtic putter also has a different, mallet type, head shape. In addition to being stamped "Celtic" on the top of the head, it is stamped "R. Forgan & Sons" with the Kings Crown, and "Special Putter / Warranted Hand Forged." The shaft is dark stained hickory, the leather grip is a replacment, but its from the early 20th century and matches up well to the club.
