These four balls have been painted different colors at some point in their history. The Blue ball, marked "Fairway" on both poles, shows its brown cover directly under the paint. That indicates the the blue paint was original. One can only wonder if these colored balls were from a putt-putt course or a game of some kind played in the early 20th century.
The brown ball is marked "Detroiter. The green ball is marked "Spalding Kro Flite". The red ball does not have a name. The balls are not cut. The brown ball has a flat spot which was likely created by a tiny amount of brown paint that pooled under the ball after the paint was applied. A very colorful group!
