This fitting driver was designed to help golfers determine the correct length when ordering a new club to their specifications. The shaft is marked in half-inch increments like a yard stick. To use this club, right-handed golfers simply position the head a comfortable distance away from their hands when addressing the ball and then check the shaft measurement behind the heel of the left hand. This measurement provides the overall length needed in a new club. If a golfer wondered what it would be like to use, say, a 46-inch shaft, the golfer could grasp this club just below that point and get a genuine feel for what he or she would have to swing.
The shaft on this driver is marked in half-inch increments from from 22" to 48". The entire club is in beautiful original condition. For more about fitting clubs, see TCA2 v2 p684.
