The lid on this Perfect Golf Tee retail display box is designed to open up and then bend in half, so the front flap will tuck and lay flat on the top of the rear two tee boxes.  When this is done, the front half of the lid will stand up vertical with the golfer in the semi circle at the top.

Inside the point of display retail box are 19 individual tee boxes, each containing a circular rubber tee stand and corresponding nail used to keep the tee in the ground after the ball is struck. Each of the individual tee boxes acknowledge that these tees were patented on 2-6-1927.

The auctioneer opened a half dozen of the individual boxes to check on the contents.  The original tees are there, and while the rubber used to make these tees has turned hard, which is normal, the tees have retained their original shape!  No evidence of any serious heat warping.  This is great news!  As is the fact that these tees come in a retail point-of-purchase display box from the 1920s!

This box of tees is in the upper LH corner of the group image.
