Both of these tees date are made from India rubber and date to the early 20th century.
The longer star tee was advertised in 1908 (see picture of ad in the images). The top of its weighted arm tee is embossed "Star Tee Patent". The
underside of the arm is marked with a British patent number and year of
the patent— "Pat No. 8217 - 08. The advertisment will sing the praises of this tee as produced in 1908 in Golfing magazine.
The Avon Trilite Tee is quite small and lightweight, with light cracking to the arm.
