Sometimes walking sticks are referred to as Sabbath clubs. To the good, god-fearing Scottish golfers of old, golf on Sunday was not an option. This line scored iron head is marked "Hand Forged" on its back along with not one but five crown stamps. This crown cleekmark is most likely that of Robert Forgan, clubmaker to the King between 1901 and 1908. Conditiion as shown in the images, but the ball, shown for perspective, is not part of this lot.
