Printed in 1981, this first edition copy of "The Venturi Analysis" complete with dust jacket was written by and signed by former professional golfer, broadcaster, and World Golf Hall of Fame member Ken Venturi.

The dust jacket insert about Venturi reads, "Ken Venturi's U.S. Open victory in 1964 was one of the most dramatic in all of golf history, as he completed the last round constantly on the brink of collapse from heat exhaustion. Venturi's playing career promised to be one of long-term brilliance, but it was cruelly foreshortened by an unusual hand ailment. Nevertheless, between 1957 and 1967 this superbly stylish golfer won 10 professional tournaments, was 1964 PGA Player of the Year, and a U.S. Ryder Cup team member in 1965. An exceptionally astute student of golf technique, Venturi has since become an articulate and highly respected golf analyst for CBS, as well as the "doctor" to whom many of today's tour pros go for help."

The inscription on the first page reads "To Lt. Col. Leon Barwick. With my best wishes and appreciation to a super human being. Sincerely Ken Venturi."

This outstanding book was printed in 1981. Venturi died in 2013, shortly after his induction into the Golf Hall of Fame.
