Made by William Gibson of Kinghorn, Scotland--this putter has a
variety of features. On the top of the putter head is a red dot sight line, the face has horizontal scoring, and
the sole is deeply grooved front to back across its length. This offset neck is attached to
its original hickory shaft. The original leather pistol grip is still on the shaft, although there is a tear in the grip a couple of inches from the top. Old tape from an old repair to the tear remains on the grip.
On the back of the head is stamped Gibson's star cleekmark along with
"Solid, Rustless, Made in Scotland". It is also stamped "Eskit" and
"Stuart Murray" in a script font, and "William Mansell," the name of a former owner.
