The Spalding "Gold Medal" was a line of Spaulding clubs available in the early 1909's. This putter is decoratively stamped along the top of its slightly offset head with Spalding's many logos and cleekmarks: the "accurate" arrow, two roses, the "hand forged" hammer, "Reg Us Pat Off," along with the "Spalding Gold Medal" oval logo, and "Putter II."
Original 33 5/8" shaft is stamped "A.G. Spalding Bros Gold MEdal" and the original leather wrapped grip is in beautiful condition. In fact, the entire club is a beauty!
