The Holtzapffel Golf Sickle was advertised as a wonderful way to get exercise, just "swing it like a golf club" when cutting weeds!  (Think Bill Murray and the flowers in Caddy Shack!) The blade is sharp on both edges and still has its original protective cover.  The butt end of the shaft has its original brass and steel cap.  "Holtzapffel" is stamped on the hosel. A beautiful perimeter piece that's out of the ordinary.
