William Mills was the most prolific designer and manufacturer of early aluminum head golf clubs. He created The Standard Golf Company, a division of The Atlas Works, to produce his clubs which are commonly referred to today as "Mills" clubs.
This Mills NK Niblick has its original 38 1/2" shaft and original sheepskin grip, but with some added whipping at the top and bottom of the grip. The head is in superb condition, which is tough to find because Mills used soft aluminum to construct his clubheads. Consequently they would ding and dent quite easily. This example, however, is in outstanding original condition. A fine piece. Nothing else like the Mills NK Niblick!
This club is shown third from the left in the accompanying group image.
