Charles Coe played in the 1959 Masters Tournament and placed an impressive 6th--the highest ranking in the tournament that year by an amateur. This is of no big surprise considering that Charles Coe is regarded as one of the greatest amateur golfers, holding many Masters amateur records and multiple amateur event titles. This scorecard is from his third round (a round that Jack Nicklaus didn't even make--being cut on his Masters debut!).  The back of the card is signed on its bottom edge "(4-59 Bartlett)"

While the card is a players official Masters scorecard from 1959, it does not bear Charlie Coe's normal signature.  Given that it also includes what club he used to approach the green, and how far from the hole he was when he made a birdie putt, this official card was most likely kept for "non-official" purposes by Mr. Bartlett. The beauty of it is one can look at this card today and see the greatness of Charlie Coe in his prime. Plus there are not alot of official 1959 Masters Tournament cards floating around.
