What a great set of woods!  Made by MacGregor with red fiber inserts and sweepback sole plates, these persimmon woods not only bare the name of Ben Hogan, they look like a true player's set.  These clubs were not catalog issued or store line, but likely a custom order in the late 1940s or early 1950s.

The heads have been beautifully refinished and still have their original True Temper shafts and leather wrapped grips. The necks are solid and the faces tight.  The driver is 43" long. The Classic era still lives strong in these three clubs.
