The Ping 1A putter is the model that started it all for the Karsten Solheim and the PING golf company.  When this putter strikes a ball, an unmistakable "Piiinnnngggg" rings out across the land and everybody on the course knows somebody is using a Ping 1A!  While this putter works great, the sound it makes gave birth to the name of the company—and the rest is history. Today, the club remains Iconic.

Offered here is a Ping 1A putter made in Karsten's Garage near Scottsdale, Arizona, in the early 1960s.  The club has its original black Golf Pride Grip Rite paddle grip complete with its original black grip colar. The original shaft is 35" long. A little bit of the original gold finish still remains on the clubhead.
