On November 27, 1964, Karsten applied for a design patent to cover his MLT putter, which was part of the putters he was making in his garage at that time. The thin face and sole with the weight concentrated behind the heel and toe was the bedrock of Karsten putter designs.
This is one of the more rare Scottsdale models. It is clearly marked with the Scottsdale address and has its original Ballnamic double bend shaft and Golf Pride Informer grip and grip collar. An outstanding club!

The shaft measures 35 1/4" long, and still has its "Tuned Ballnamic" shaft band.
