The head of this deep groove backspin iron is made from Radite, a non-rustable metal produced by MacGregor briefly in the early 20th century. The head is marked "Radite" and 'MacGregor" etc. As shown in one of the images, the shaft has a small crack down near the hosel. It has been glued and there is no movement in it when the shaft is torqued. The leather-wrap grip appears original to the shaft.
