Ampco irons were made by the Ampco Metal Golf Club Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the 1920s. The heads on the irons in this set are made from a bronze alloy and have a golden color.
This set of Ampcos consists of a 1 driving iron, 4 mid iron, 6 mashie iron, 8 mashie, 11 pitcher, and 15 putter. Golfers could pick and choose which clubs they wanted. Carrying 15 irons in a golf bag was not normal, but the six clubs here make up a well-rounded set. All with original grips.
