In May of 1910, Selfridge & Co. of London advertised this Dandy ball as follows:
"THE DEPENDABLE ‘DANDY’ We are convinced, and wish you to be convinced, that there is not a better ball on the market for the money than the ' Dandy.' It is a ball that helps your game. It flies well against the wind and is perfectly true on the green. The core is a durable rubber which gives the ball an extra-ordinary amount of resilience, while the cover and paint are both excellently staunch in their resistance against splitting and cracking. We pay carriage as willingly on one as on a dozen to anywhere in British isles, and the marvelous price each is 10 1/2."
With only some very minor chips to the original paint and showing little to no use, this ball is truly a Dandy!
