This circa 1885 putter bears the name of the great Tom Morris, and
was made in his shop. The
finish is old, the head is solid, and the face is clean. The grip appears original, and is distinctly oversize, made for a player with large hands or so one would think. The 36 1/2" shaft appears original.
Overall this club looks good and is clean and solid. The "T Morris" stamp is clearly visible. There is a lot to like about this club including its direct connection to the great four-time Open champ Tom Morris. When he
died in 1908, he was a living legend, honored and revered by all who knew him. Today, his legacy continues
unabated.
