These two silver-plated knife holders come in their own case with a leather exterior and velvet and felt interior.  The makers name "Geo. Jamieson & Son, Jewellers, Aberdeen" is marked on the inside of the lid.  Box measures 6 1/2" by 3 1/4".  Each knife holder consists of four mesh pattern golf balls as was used in the gutty ball era supporting criss-crossed long nosed wood and iron club. Stunning!

November 14th: These knife holders are not hallmarked, but I had them tested and the test confirmed they are silver-plated.
