This Spalding Bob bramble rubber-core ball was produced in 1906.  It was a well made rubber core ball with a gutta percha cover, and was not a remade.  It was called the "Bob" because its price was only a 1 shilling.  Most top-rated balls at the time were selling for 2 to 2 1/2 shillings.  The beautiful example offered here shows little to no use.
