This Gorgeous c. 1890s double ink well includes two hinged golf balls, that open and close and originally held the ink. An old quill pen is also included. The underside is marked "JR & S" and "EP" for "electroplate plate". This piece could therefore be electroplate nickel silver or electroplate nickel steel, though silver plate was often used to make 1890s ink wells. The golf ball shown in one image is not included with this lot. It simply demonstrates that the two golf balls on the tray are actual size.
Item measures approximately 11" wide by 8" deep by 6 " tall.
