These matching c. 1900 silverplate candle holders, modeled after long nose clubs and mesh gutty balls, measure 10" tall. Each base is stamped "W&H" inside a flag, the mark of Walker & Hall, a silversmith located in Sheffield, England.
The darker areas on the candle holders in some images is created by the way the light interacted with the silver. When viewed in person, the silver on all areas of each candle holder is even, clean, and bright.
In a word, these exceedingly rare candle holders are magnificent!
(The tee shown in some of the images is not part of this lot. It is used to help show size.)
