This unusual circa 1920 brassey has a thick brass face formed integral with a thick brass alignment bar that extends all the way across the center head, from the front to the back. Six large screws hold the entire brass piece in place.  The full brass soleplate has done a good job of protecting the rest of the head from any significant damage.

The top of the head is marked "A Tooley & Sons, 40 Fetterlane, London, Reg'd". The shaft and grip are original. the original page from TCA2 signed by the author will accompany this club to the winner of this auction.
