This lot consists of four scorecards presented in one frame, ready to be mounted on the wall of your choice.  The Scorecards are from the 1946 Richmond Invitational Open Golf Tournament.  This was a PGA Tour event held on October 24-27 and won by Herman Kaiser.  Hogan finished second.

One of the cards belonged to Sam Snead and bears his signature along with the signature of Chandler Harper, Snead's scorer who kept the hole by hole score.

The second card belonged to Frank Stranahan, who signed the card.  But his scorer was Ben Hogan who wrote down the hole by hole score and attested it with his signature. Hogan was the leading Money winner on the PGA Tour in 1946.

The third card belonged to a now obscure golfer that had the same name as the consignor's father. This player withdrew, although his card shows he made it around the course...in 85 shots.  (Apparently he was not feeling well, so the contestent did not sign his card but wrote "withdrawn" or something to that effect where he would have signed the card). The auctioneer does not recognize the signature of the player who attested his card.

The fourth card is a card the shows the name of the event.

These cards were given to the consignor's father as a gift by an individual who worked at the event.  As framed, this item measures 11 1/4" wide by 34 1/4" tall.
