We know that many companies used golf tee matchbooks to promote their businesses.  This lot consist of an promotional envelope and matchbook sent out by a matchbook-making company. The envelope bears a 1959 postmark and was sent to the Louis F. Dow Company, 540 Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois. The really nice thing about the matchbook enclosed in the envelope is it shows what matchbooks in general looked like in 1959, and wood tees as well.
