This is a large box of Rite-Hite tees, measuring 4 1/4" x 2 1/4"  in perfect condition. The box advertises "longer shank, bigger head, sharper point, waxed and polished."

Rite-Hite tees were sold as always able to provide the golfer with a uniform height when teeing up the ball.  The golfer used these tees by inserting them into the ground until the bottom "ring" of the tee contacted the ground and the tee could not be inserted any further. Earlier golfers did not tee the ball up high. Their woods had shallow face depths.  Rite-Hite Tees were patented on Sept 15, 1925.
