Advertised in and around 1931, the "Rivers-Zambra Approach Putter" (also titled "The Scuffler") has a unique head shape that includes a low profile blade and well-lofted face. Plus each side of the head--the face, the crown, the back, and the sole--is flat.
The back of the putter head is stamped "Warranted Rustless Iron / Hand Forged Throughout," along with an anchor cleekmark, belonging to the manufacturer, Stadium Golf Co., London. Dot punch face.
