1) The smallest container of the three items is the circa 1930 Colonel Bogey's "Whipex" cord in its little glass capsule. It it is held on its original card which describes the whipping as "pure silk bees waxed."  Never been opened.

2) As it states on the side of the Windit container, Windit was "Specially prepared linen thread for winding golf clubs, or for wrapping or winding shafts and hand grips of all kinds." Manufactured by Ludlow Mfg Associates in Boston, MA. As can be seen in the image, the top portion of the container has been removed.  The container measures 2 1/4" tall. Early 20th century.

3) The largest of the three, the container of Barbour's tarred linen golf club twine measures 2 1/2" tall and nicely feeds the twine through a grommet on the top. Early 20th century.
