This wood head mallet putter has a thick brass soleplate. A centrally located raised ridge runs across the top of the head. The original 35 1/2" shaft transitions to square under its grip, which is a sueded leather replacement that matches up well to the period. The original finish has been nicely reworked and the whipping appears to be stranded copper wire that is soldered at the top and bottom. Overall, this is an attractive club, pleasing to the eye.
