Produced by O.A. Holdbrook of 15
Foster's Wharf, Boston, MA, this Wee Novel Tee Moulder is one of the
first sand tee molds made in America. The tee is in mint condition, and
still in its original orange box. The mould is stamped "Pat Apl'd For"
on the top of the plunger.
Olin
A. Holbrook received a US Patent dated December 2, 1902 for this device,
in perfect working condition—or so the auctioneer expects as the protective paper
wrap on this mold looks to have never been opened. The Wee Moulder Tee in the
image is an actual mint Wee Moulder Tee, but it's a "stand in" for the
one in the box. The auctioneer did not want to unwrap the original protective wrap.
Wee Novel Tee Moulder's came in 4
different box colors all of which are offered individually in this
auction.
