A Faroid rubber-core golf ball is among the most desirable golf balls in existence. Its concentric ring cover is recognizable from over 10 feet away. They were designed to be struck a certain way in order to maximize the flight characeristics provided by their raised rings. Some Faroids were even marked "This End Up" to remind the golfer to place it on its smallest ring.

This Faroid 75 was repainted back in the day and shows use. Note that when viewed in the pictures, some of the strike marks are shown more than once and from different angles.  Therefore it might look like this ball is cut to smithereens... but there are only 4 major strike marks. In person the ball is not all bad.  It will still displayed well enough, especially when one considers that a perfect Faroid just sold for $4400 in my past auction.
