Marked "Boye Patent 1437463" on the sole, it features an adjustable hosel that tilts back and forth, heel to toe. This allows the clubhead to be used right-handed, left-handed, or croquet style. To operate the mechanism, simply move the hosel to the desired position.

Boye's club is considered "multiface" because more than one side of the head was designed to strike the ball. The flat side of the head is used for putting and the uneven (dual face) side is used for chipping. Note that the uneven side even has two lofts--one positive and one negative--which was designed to remove all backspin from the chip.

The clubhead is in remarkable good condition with little bag wear and no cracks in the head.  Boye adjustables are often found with significant cracks along the sole or across the back of the head because, unfortunately, the metal used to construct these hollow heads was not very durable. The 35-inch shaft is original as is the leather-wrapped grip.
