This three piece cylindrical Cambridge glass humidor, made by the Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio, features finely-detailed gold-encrusted golf scene etching around its entire perimeter.  The lid features a gold encrusted medallion etching on the top. The highly reflective black glass is accented with gold rings.  The bottom is not marked with the Cambridge C in a triangle, but it was definitely made by Cambridge around the late 1920s. It matches up with the pattern on the Cambridge pitcher and glasses also offered in this sale, two lots further on.  An image of both together is included at the end of the accompanying images with this lot. Condition of this rarity is a 10 on a scale of 10. Same with its artistry.

This humidor will look stunning in any setting and grace the decor of any room.  And it’s not just the gorgous use of gold on black. It’s the detailed beauty of the etching as well.

These are all fantastic pieces!
