This Puffin Putter is marked with a British design registration number that dates to the end of 1928.  The designer featured a large round mass at the base of the hosel to assist the golfer in making a pendulum-type stroke but without the center shaft design normally associated with such.  The leather-wrap grip appears original and is flat down the entire length of its front side.  The flat front allows the golfer to feel his or her thumbs square on the shaft which assists in keeping the putter square throughout the stroke. A genuine rarity in great condition!
