This lot consists of a variety of six different vintage metal tees. Notice how four of the tees in this lot are quite short—shorter tees are, as a general rule, older.  Metal tees were tried briefly, mostly just before and after 1930, but were short-lived. They wreaked havoc on wood faces—and mowers. Consequently, they are exceptionally difficult to find today.  If a person tried to collect just vintage steel tees, they would have a very small collection. This is a fantastic lot.
