This is a very nice matching set of Walter Hagen "Graduated Reg No. 202" irons consisting of a 1 iron through 9 iron. The back of the blade and the sole of each respective iron is marked, "Driving Iron, Mid Iron, Mid Mashie, Mashie Iron, Mashie, Spade Mashie, Mashie Niblick, Niblick, and Putter."  The clubs have their original shafts, complete with shaft decals and original leather-wrapped grips. The heads have a nice dark patina.  Dot punched faces. This set was not pieced together—all nine clubs were originally sold as a set almost 100 years ago. Circa 1920s.
